CCTV Operator (Sewer)

About the role

The CCTV Operator (Sewer) is responsible for monitoring and maintaining surveillance systems within sewerage facilities to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras in real-time to detect any issues or potential hazards.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
• Document all incidents and activities for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions to maintenance staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar operational role.
• Knowledge of sewerage systems and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with surveillance software.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with occasional night and weekend work required.
