CCTV Operator (Sewer)
About the role
Atakapa Services, LLC (A Waggoner Company) is seeking a full-time Sewer CCTV Operator to operate a CCTV van and manage a crew in the Birmingham, AL area. This position requires a skilled professional capable of working at a variety of job sites with a strong focus in municipal construction. The ability to effectively communicate, lead, and streamline organization of an effective and efficient job site. Atakapa Services, LLC. (A Waggoner Company) specializes in evaluating, maintaining and designing rehabilitation methods for sanitary sewer and storm drain infrastructure. We work with municipalities, wastewater utility contractors and engineering firms to inspect, clean, and rehabilitate their underground wastewater and drainage infrastructure. We provide a comprehensive range of services and reports to help our clients address the most complex sewer and storm drain operation and maintenance problems.
Responsibilities
- Operate CCTV van and manage crew at various job sites
- Apply knowledge of SSES (Sewer System Evaluation Survey) industry
- Display leadership and organizational skills to run job site effectively and efficiently
- Utilize basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Pass drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1+ years experience in Sewer CCTV, Plumbing, or Municipal Construction (preferred)
- Class B CDL (preferred); CDL Class C required
- Valid Driver's License
- Plumbing experience combined with municipal construction highly preferred
- Ability to pass drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check
