About the role

U.S. Tsubaki is a leading manufacturer and supplier of power transmission and motion control products, offering state-of-the-art products as part of a vast international network. This role involves setting up and operating a wide range of presses to assemble chain and related operations, ensuring high levels of efficiency and quality per U.S. Tsubaki standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate automatic chain assembly equipment, semi-automatic equipment, power presses, pre-stressing equipment, greasing, and packaging equipment.
  • Measure all quality parameters of assembled chain and determine corrective actions for processes as needed.
  • Retrieve and replace components from parts storage or prior processes to ensure continuous equipment operation.
  • Assist, train, and develop operators.
  • Work from engineering drawings, production schedules, work routings, and verbal instructions from supervisors.
  • Follow company procedures for quality and operation of the assembly process.
  • Select proper tooling, equipment, and materials for each job.
  • Provide adequate parts to maintain efficient product flow.
  • Adapt working practices to meet changing business needs.
  • Maintain mechanical equipment and assemblies.
  • Handle heavy weights and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements

  • Completed an approved training program for setting up and operating equipment in a section.
  • Strong mechanical ability and sufficient knowledge of press operation and setup.
  • Prior setup experience on automatic, mechanical, and hydraulic press equipment.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings and instructions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete workloads efficiently and on time.
  • Flexible and capable of adapting to changing business needs.
  • Trade school qualification in manufacturing or engineering is desirable.
  • A tooling background is helpful.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling heavy weights.

Pay

$24.39–$28.70 hourly wage.
