About the role
A Sessional Lecturer - ARC180H1F - Computation and Design (co-instructor) position is available in the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape & Design at the Daniels Faculty of Arch., Land & Design on the St. George campus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver course material
- Manage digital teaching materials and supervise teaching assistants
- Prepare and deliver assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred final examinations
- Mark student work, submit grades, handle student inquiries, appeals, and petitions
- Deal with student contact hours
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (or related design discipline)
- Relevant professional experience in computation and design
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional degree in architecture (Master’s or Bachelor’s)
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level
- Demonstrated excellence in computation applied to the design disciplines
- A 1-2 page portfolio
Benefits
- Vacation pay (4% or 6%, depending on the rate)

- $9,997.47 (Sessional Lecturer I)
- $10,699.21 (Sessional Lecturer I Long Term)
- $10,699.21 (Sessional Lecturer II)
- $10,953.96 (Sessional Lecturer II Long Term)
- $10,953.96 (Sessional Lecturer III)
- $11,228.90 (Sessional Lecturer III Long Term)
Schedule
The sessional dates of appointment are September 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026.
