About the role
A Sessional Lecturer is needed to teach Design and Representation I (ARC100H1F) at the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape & Design, Daniels Faculty of Arch., Land & Design, St. George campus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver course material
- Manage digital teaching materials
- Supervise teaching assistants
- Prepare and deliver assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations
- Mark student work, submit grades
- Deal with student enquiries, appeals and petitions
- Deal with student contact hours
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (or related design discipline)
- Relevant professional experience in design
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional degree in architecture (Master’s or Bachelor’s)
- Teaching architectural design at the undergraduate or graduate level
- Demonstrated experience in architectural practice
- Demonstrated design excellence
