About the Role

Extreme Networks is seeking a dynamic Services Account Executive to lead the charge in growing our service business with our Enterprise clients. In this high-impact, remote role, you'll own the full services revenue number and have a strategic focus on expanding and optimizing Extreme Services across the Enterprise region. You'll report directly to the Director of Service Sales and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Own the full services number and forecast, with accountability for revenue expansion and optimization of Extreme Services. This is a commission-based role where earnings correlate with your ability to close and grow business.
  • Account Expansion: Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing and new clients to maximize service growth, including Premier Services, Professional Services, Cloud Services, Monitoring Services, and Service Renewal contracts.
  • Solution Selling: Partner with Account Executives, channel partners, and end users to develop and present service solutions on new and renewal opportunities.
  • Market Awareness: Drive service awareness across the Enterprise region, positioning Extreme Services as a critical component of customer solutions.
  • Strategic Forecasting: Manage and maintain accurate sales forecasts with twice-weekly updates, ensuring visibility and accountability across the sales organization.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work cross-functionally with Services Delivery, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success teams to maximize client value and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Problem Solving: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, identifying challenges and developing innovative service solutions.
  • Channel Enablement: Present solutions to channel partners and end users, driving adoption and engagement through effective communication and education.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of enterprise software or services sales experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and managing a sales forecast.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to executive-level buyers.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships in an account-based selling model.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven professional with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling IT services, cloud services, or managed services.
  • Background in networking, cybersecurity, or enterprise infrastructure solutions.
  • Knowledge of Extreme Networks products or competitive landscape.
  • Experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
  • Track record of successful service expansion and renewal management.
  • Enterprise sales experience in the North American market.

Pay

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $170,000 to $190,000 USD. The posted range reflects the amount Extreme Networks reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role upon hire, using objective, gender-neutral criteria based on skills, experience, responsibility, and working conditions. Actual compensation offered will depend on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and work location. This role is also eligible for commission on a 50/50 split.

Schedule

This is a full-time, remote position. Location preference is the Central US, though other locations will be considered depending on experience.
