ServiceNow Test Engineer
Description
Icf is seeking a ServiceNow Test Engineer to support enterprise ServiceNow delivery efforts with a federal program. The role includes executing tests, designing test suites, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring security and compliance.
What You Will Do
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for ServiceNow solutions
- Design, maintain, and run automated test suites using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- Perform manual testing of workflows, forms, role behavior, reporting, and platform configurations
- Validate enhancements, bug fixes, and release changes across development, test, and production environments
- Track defects, support triage, and verify fixes through resolution using ServiceNow Agile Development, Jira or similar tools
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to confirm acceptance criteria and expected outcomes
- Support testing of workflow updates, access controls, reporting changes, data-related updates, and integrations
- Document test plans, test cases, results, and lessons learned in Confluence or similar documentation tools
- Support release readiness, test evidence collection, and UAT coordination
- Verify configurations and updates align with security and compliance expectations
What You Must Have
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret security clearance as required by federal contract
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineer, Information Technology or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, QA, or test engineering
- 3+ years of experience testing ServiceNow applications or comparable enterprise workflow platforms
- 3+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments with user stories and sprint ceremonies
What We Would Like You To Have
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow testing activities, including Automated Test Framework (ATF) or comparable automated testing tools
- Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
- Experience using ServiceNow Agile Development or Jira for defect tracking and Confluence for documentation
- Working knowledge of federal delivery security and compliance-sensitive delivery environments
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, security validation, or compliance-focused testing practices
- Experience validating workflow dependencies, data updates, and role-based access behavior
- Exposure to release management, smoke testing, and test evidence collection
- Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and collaboration with analysts and developers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly communicative
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating closely with a delivery team

Job Location
Remote work is authorized. Must support US Eastern time zone working hours. Preference to candidates who live in the Washington DC metro area.

Pay Range
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $67,355.00 - $114,503.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
