About the role

We are seeking a ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Analyst to support and enhance our asset management program. This role requires hands-on experience in the ServiceNow HAM module, a strong asset management mindset, and the ability to engage with stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will serve as a key resource for hardware asset management initiatives, facilitate meetings, answer process and tool-related questions, and act as a backup to team leadership when needed. Strong communication and presentation skills are critical, as this individual will regularly interact with leadership and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support hardware asset management processes within the ServiceNow HAM module.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for hardware asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirement.
• Lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and provide guidance on asset management best practices.
• Partner with IT, procurement, finance, and business teams to ensure accurate asset tracking and compliance.
• Analyze asset data, identify process improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Act as a backup resource for team leadership and support strategic asset management initiatives.
• Ensure asset records are maintained accurately and aligned with organizational policies.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
• Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience working directly within ServiceNow asset management modules rather than purely development-focused roles.
• Ability to independently lead meetings and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience presenting findings and recommendations to leadership teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms or processes.
• Combination of strong SAM experience with some HAM exposure will also be considered.
• ITIL or asset management certifications are a plus.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale asset management programs.
