Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules within enterprise environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Implement and support core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, and custom scoped applications, including workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations.
  • Develop server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript to extend platform functionality and automate business processes.
  • Support ServiceNow upgrades, patch management, and platform enhancements while maintaining upgrade-safe development practices.
  • Conduct system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and high availability.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and provide recommendations based on platform best practices.
  • Maintain platform security, including role-based access controls, data governance, and compliance with enterprise security policies.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development and architecture experience in enterprise environments.
  • Certified Application Developer Certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise and multi-instance management.
  • Ability to develop AI-powered automation solutions for incident resolution, knowledge management, and user assistance.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including server-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs) and client-side scripting (Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions).
  • Experience developing and maintaining ITSM, CSM, and/or custom scoped applications.
