About the Opportunity:The SENIOR SERVICENOW BUSINESS ANALYST leads the requirements gathering and process design efforts for federal agency clients. This role acts as a vital intermediary between federal business stakeholders and technical teams, translating mission objectives into compliant, scalable ServiceNow solutions. The position is crucial for maintaining quality standards and ensuring that solutions meet federal guidelines and operational needs. Responsibilities:Lead client workshops and focus groups to gather and document business requirements aligned with agency goals.Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications within Agile frameworks.Conduct gap analyses between legacy processes and ServiceNow standard functionalities.Collaborate with Agile Coach to create and maintain Agile processes and SOPs for ServiceNow delivery teams.Review user stories and requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and readiness for sprint planning.Mentor junior developers and analysts on business context, federal constraints, and ServiceNow best practices.Perform peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts to uphold quality.Develop process maps, workflows, and data models to illustrate service delivery.Advise government stakeholders on best practices to avoid excessive customization.Work with System Architects to confirm technical feasibility of designs.Ensure all solutions comply with federal IT standards, including accessibility and security controls.Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing plans with government personnel.Produce federal-grade deliverables such as SOPs, User Guides, and Training materials. Requirements:U.S. Citizenship.Ability to obtain and maintain Secret-level security clearance.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst, including 3 years specializing in ServiceNow.Experience in federal contracting within DoD, DHS, or Civilian agencies.Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one additional major workflow.Experience with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps for backlog management.Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio or LucidChart.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required. Preferred:ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.Project Management or Agile certifications. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Salary range is $110,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience.
