ServiceNow Architect
Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ServiceNow Architect to join our team and support our government clients. The successful applicant will provide hands-on technical and solution architecture leadership across the ServiceNow platform, designing and implementing solutions while serving as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams.

This role requires strong ServiceNow platform knowledge, the ability to translate business needs into practical platform solutions, and the flexibility to adapt to new ServiceNow capabilities and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into ServiceNow platform capabilities, solution designs, and implementation approaches.
- Provide architectural guidance across ServiceNow capabilities including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, CMDB/CSDM, integrations, and related platform services.
- Lead customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, solution reviews, and architecture discussions with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate and guide delivery teams on platform standards, integration patterns, configuration versus customization decisions, and ServiceNow best practices.
- Support the delivery of ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, enhancements, modernization efforts, and platform roadmaps.
- Stay current with new ServiceNow releases and capabilities and help assess their applicability to customer and CGS needs.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, reference patterns, and reusable solution approaches.
- Mentor technical teams and contribute to ServiceNow capability development, solution demonstrations, proposals, and customer presentations.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance as required.
- Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience supporting technical solutioning, demonstrations, proposals, or pre-sales activities.
- Ability to mentor teams, communicate platform capabilities, and serve as a trusted ServiceNow advisor.
- 6+ years of ServiceNow experience, including demonstrated experience designing or leading ServiceNow solutions.
- Strong overall knowledge of the ServiceNow platform with experience across multiple capabilities such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, CMDB/CSDM, Discovery, HAM, or SAM.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, APIs, MID Server, Integration Hub, or integration with enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, platform governance, security, scalability, and configuration versus customization practices.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification and/or relevant Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to work directly with customers and technical teams.
Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification or equivalent architecture experience.
- Experience supporting federal government or other public-sector organizations.
- Experience with ServiceNow App Engine, automation, AI/Now Assist, or other emerging ServiceNow capabilities.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow development and troubleshooting.

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $165,000 - $195,000. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k), along with other benefits.
