ServiceNow Architect
About the role
As a ServiceNow Architect, you will design and implement end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow platform to modernize and automate government business processes. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with development teams to translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, future-proof solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging technology to drive meaningful impact in healthcare and government operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications and solutions to meet system stakeholder requirements.
- Analyze needs and operating environments to ensure solutions align with architecture, future functionality, and enhancements.
- Implement ServiceNow solutions using core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, and custom apps.
- Configure and administer the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Integrate ServiceNow with CMDB or asset systems, scripted web services, and web service technologies (SOAP/REST).
- Collaborate with development teams using Agile lifecycle methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, custom apps, or development methods.
- Experience with web development technologies such as XHTML, HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, or Angular, and back-end technologies including JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion.
- Experience implementing scripted web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice If You Have
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with application design concepts and tools, including UML, ERD, and Flow Diagrams.
- Experience introducing open-source solutions into ServiceNow via Script Includes or as JS or CSS Includes.
- Experience implementing ServiceNow inside a DevOps pipeline.
- Experience with Agile Scrum development methods.
- Experience with proposal writing.
- Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP integrations.
- ITILv3 or ITIL4 Foundations Certification.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors including location, education, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
