Service Yard

About the role

Provide friendly, accurate service and ensure that customers receive their purchases in a timely manner; maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the service yard.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate friendliness towards customers and co-workers
• Fill customer orders as identified on the loading slips by retrieving purchased merchandise and loading it into customers’ vehicles
• Ensure accuracy and safety of products loaded and complete customer liability waiver as necessary
• Operate forklift as necessary
• Clean debris from loading dock, warehouse, and service yard to maintain a clean environment
• Respond to questions and requests from co-workers inside the retail store
• Maintain loading slips after the customers’ products have been loaded
• Perform daily inspections of all vehicles and forklifts on location
• Stock inside retail store as directed by store leadership
• Perform cashier functions in warehouse
• Monitor and maintain pest control
• Uphold all company policies and procedures
• Perform other tasks and duties as required by supervising manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
