About the Role
This customer-facing position supports the dispense systems team by traveling to customer sites to install, repair, and troubleshoot process equipment. Responsibilities include providing final runout and testing of completed projects at the ESCO facility, assisting with customer factory acceptance tests, and supporting application lab trials. Travel is irregular and amounts to approximately 50% of the year.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to install and commission dispense machines and systems
- Inspect, test, and perform run-off of equipment prior to shipment
- Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation for equipment manuals
- Support the setup and execution of application lab trials and factory acceptance tests (FAT)
- Provide technical support to customers via phone and web-based communication
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the company vision, values, and culture
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety by following safe work practices and actively minimizing workplace hazards
- Collaborate effectively with team members and support departments to achieve performance objectives
Requirements
- 5 years of related work experience with evidence of ongoing education in maintenance, repair, and operations of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Required experience with any of the following manufacturing processes:
- Food (dairy, beverages, bakeries, etc.)
- Hydraulic Systems
- Chemical Systems and Manufacturing
- Plastics manufacturing; injection molding, painting, reactive materials
- Other related industries where the processing of liquid materials and automated manufacturing occurs
- Expert knowledge in the function and repair of the following components and systems:
- Pumps; gear, piston, pneumatic, centrifugal
- Valves, flow controls, piping and fittings, pneumatics, seals
- Power Transmission; electric motors, gearboxes, cylinders, bearings
- Vacuum systems
- Temperature control systems; electric, water, and oil
- Hydraulic and electrical schematics and system troubleshooting
- PLC and HMI troubleshooting and basic programming
- Industrial electronics troubleshooting and repair
- Experience with polyurethane processing equipment is highly desirable but not required
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to approximately 50%, primarily within the United States and Canada, with occasional international travel; must be able to obtain a U.S. Passport

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret mechanical or electrical drawings, technical procedures, and product manuals
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, Allen Bradley PLC software, and internet navigation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening
- Ability to discern appropriate use of company resources to accomplish goals
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
- Problem-solving skills, including gathering and organizing information and applying contingency plans
- Ability to conceptualize designs with limited reference points or experience
Pay
$32–$36 hourly wage
