Service Technician
About the role
Service Technicians provide mechanical repairs to washers and dryers at customer locations within their assigned region. They keep our machines running smoothly to meet customer expectations or the need for repeated service needs.
Responsibilities
- Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
- Disassemble machines and examine mechanical and electrical parts
- Reassemble appliances, adjust pulleys, and lubricate moving parts
- Replace worn or defective parts and adjust motors
- Clean and wash parts
- Advises dispatch department of equipment that should be replaced with new equipment
- Drive a company vehicle to and from work locations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good driving record
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Effective English communication skills (oral and written); bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish) are desirable
- At least 2 years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge and/or training
- Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck
- Prior washer/dryer repair experience is desirable

Pay
Estimated Salary: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.

Varies based on location and shift requirements.
