What You’ll Do
- Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
- Disassemble machines and examine mechanical and electrical parts
- Reassemble appliances, adjust pulleys, and lubricate moving parts
- Replace worn or defective parts and adjust motors
- Clean and wash parts
- Advis[e] dispatch department of equipment that should be replaced with new equipment
- Drive a company vehicle to and from work locations
What We’re Looking For
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A good driving record
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Effective English communication skills (oral and written); bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish) are desirable
- At least 2 years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge and/or training
- The ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck
- Prior washer/dryer repair experience is desirable
