About the role
At Thomas Pest Services, we are a fast-growing, family-owned pest management company serving the Capital and Upper Hudson Valley regions. We are seeking experienced Pest Control Service Technicians who can demonstrate a passion for relationship-based pest management and thrive in independent yet supported roles.
Responsibilities
- Deliver relationship-based pest management to resolve and prevent customer pest concerns and issues.
- Operate company vehicles safely and maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, chemicals used, and observations made on a company-issued mobile device.
- Mix, apply, and treat pesticides in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
- Arrive promptly at scheduled stops and complete all services within allotted times.
- Inspect customer properties to identify pest activity and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Identify potential pest entry points and advise customers on exclusion methods.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to work full-time with potential for overtime during May - September.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various climates.
Qualifications
No prior pest management experience is necessary. We offer comprehensive in-field and classroom training programs to prepare you for success. We also cover certification exams and annual renewals. Ongoing training keeps you updated on industry trends and changes.

Pay
$45,000 - $65,000 annually.

Physical Demands
- Frequent activities such as lifting, walking, and crawling.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb on ladders, kneel, and crawl.
- Comfortable getting on roofs as required.
- Applicants must possess the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
