Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all mechanical and electrical problems on respective boat, motors, and trailers.
- Aid customers by answering specific technical questions to help the customer understand the operation of the unit and the work to be done or work already completed.
- Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them immediately to supervisor.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
Marine Service Technician Diploma or certification required
Knowledge or related experience in the marine service industry
Excellent customer service skills – known as someone who goes above and beyond
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
- Must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
- Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season.
