Service Technician

About the role
The Service Technician operates a company service truck and drives to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks. This position is central to our business operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
- Perform all work duties in a safe manner in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to ensure no accidents or injuries.
- Conduct duties involving sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as well as frequent lifting and pushing between 50 and 150 lbs.
- Service portable toilets to USS 8-point service standard.
- Interact with customers on-site to ensure services meet their standards.
- Adjust routes flexibly to meet customer needs and provide feedback to operations management for efficiency improvements.
- Strategically plan for customer needs by discussing portable toilet requirements to satisfy current and future demands.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
- Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
- Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Physical Requirements
- Sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
- Use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Perform repetitive movements.
- See details of objects both near and at a distance.
- Speak clearly and understand speech from others.
- Hear and differentiate sounds.
- Walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion.
- Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling.
- Lift up to 40 lbs from waist to shoulders.
- Lift 30 lbs from the floor to head height.
- Crouch and squat.
- Push and pull 100 lbs horizontally.

Pay
Salary Range: $17.64 – $23.81 per hour.
