Service Technician
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Service Technician for our residential property, Arbor Lakes. Our Service Team contributes a high level of residential property maintenance knowledge and skill to the operation of the property.
Responsibilities
- Maintain our apartment homes, common areas and grounds, with particular attention toward efficiency, safety and asset protection.
- Aid the Service Manager in managing expenses within the allotted budget, performing preventative maintenance, conserving energy, and ensuring superior resident service.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years prior maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community.
- Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- A proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate using clear, professional English.
- Knowledge of the safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies.
- Ability to navigate stairs and ladders, lift up to fifty pounds unassisted, and reach overhead and below.
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime periods and assist at our other residential communities when needed.
- Availability to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to work on Saturdays.
