Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the Truck Assembly area.
• Work with other employees as part of a team.
• Take direction from area supervision and follow that direction.
• Accurately use and read a tape measure.
• Complete an internal assembly-training program and perform assembly operations.
• (Optional) Complete an internal welder-training program and perform weld operations.
• Become efficient with mechanical equipment and learn all aspects of the job as required.
• Demonstrate a productive and non-disruptive work ethic.
• Create no or limited scrap or rework and continuously improve quality level.
• Follow all company safety rules and policies.
• Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Strive to improve in all aspects of job requirements.

Qualifications

• Works well as a team member.
• Able to follow orders of supervisor.
• Specific Job Skills:
• Ability to troubleshoot AC & DC circuits.
• Understand basics of hydraulic circuitry.
• (Optional) Welding/fabrication experience.
• Computer Skills:
• Read blueprints and other documents.
• Have mechanical skills.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Exceptional Attendance.
• Be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. at times as required by job.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
