Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance as per manufacturer's guidelines and dealership standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and other issues and provide accurate repair recommendations to customers.
- Collaborate with the service team to prioritize and complete repair jobs efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing explanations of repairs and costs, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through continuous training and professional development.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technical program or certification is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on various vehicle makes and models.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
