Service Technician

About the role

Polaris Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Shock Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspect, maintain, repair, and optimize shock absorbers for various applications, including UTV and Snowmobile shocks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disassemble, clean, and rebuild shock absorbers to manufacturer or custom specifications.
• Document shock settings, pressures, measurements, and parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to meet performance goals.
• Follow all safety protocols and quality control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
• Mechanical or automotive repair experience (shock/suspension experience a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
• Ability to lift and handle components up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with motorsports or off-road vehicle suspension systems.
• Familiarity with shock dyno operation and data interpretation.

Work Environment

• Hands-on mechanical work in a shop setting.
• Occasional travel for events, testing, or customer support.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay range for California is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.
