About the role
As a Service Technician at Plunkett's, you'll manage your own route, provide pest control services, and build strong customer relationships in Clovis, NM and the surrounding areas. This role offers flexible hours, uncapped sales incentives, and the opportunity to grow your own territory.
- Set your schedule with flexible hours (current route operates Sunday - Thursday)
- Manage and build your own defined route and client relationships
- Unlimited earning potential through uncapped sales incentives
- Independent field work with strong support and training
- Training pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide pest control services for homes and businesses
- Inspect properties and treat for common pests
- Build strong customer relationships
- Grow your route through sales
- Use basic equipment and tools in indoor and outdoor conditions
Requirements
- Comfortable talking with customers and selling services
- Self-starter who thrives working independently
- Eager to learn (training and licensing provided)
- Comfortable with physical work and outdoor conditions
- Able to use mobile apps for daily tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
Bonus points: Experience in route sales, account management, or customer service.
Physical requirements
- Regularly lift and move 25 to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs)
- Perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and extended walking or sitting
