Responsibilities
- Perform highly diversified duties to repair, install, and maintain petroleum equipment and related devices.
- Execute mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensures all requests are handled in a professional manner.
- Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements.
- Troubleshoot various types of equipment, able to make repairs as needed.
- Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand, and power tools related to the job.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order.
- Any other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience with electrical controls and electronic wiring.
- Will maintain a valid driver’s License as well as a clean driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be available for on-call rotation.
- Experience with computer tasks such as software installation, installing hard drives, networks, routers, printers and other components.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrates organization skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Team oriented, with the ability to build consensus and effective relationships in a cohesive business environment.
- Must have a passion for customer service excellence.
- Ability to respond promptly to service calls or emergencies as they arise.
- Self-motivated, driven with a passion for excellence.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to: Work for extended periods on knees or in squatting positions.
- Bend and perform tasks regularly.
- Pull and break pipes loose as needed.
- Pass a respirator fit test and medical evaluation when required.
- Work for extended periods in aerial lifts or on ladders.
- Wear and properly use fall protection equipment.
- Enter confined spaces to perform tasks (when trained and authorized).
- Work outdoors in both hot and cold environments.
- Drive safely for extended periods while maintaining focus.
- Work in prone positions (on stomach) to access underground equipment for extended periods.
