Service Technician
About the role
OneWall Communities® is a vertically integrated real estate company focusing on transit and lifestyle-oriented workforce housing in the Northeast U.S. We are seeking an experienced Service Technician with HVAC experience to manage daily maintenance operations, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Complete service requests within 24 hours or according to community policy.
- Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
- Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
- Aid in moving furniture and unloading/storing supplies, ensuring safety when handling heavy items.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One year of general maintenance experience with construction, plumbing, and electrical skills preferred.
- HVAC certification required.
- Excellent customer relations experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
