Service Technician

About the role

We are now seeking a Service Technician to join our maintenance team at Boardwalk at Westlake Apartments, a 1,381-unit apartment community in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time position offers a $1200 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete service requests including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and support day-to-day property upkeep
• Complete make-readies and assist in maintaining curb appeal and community appearance
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests and resident concerns
• Communicate clearly with residents, office staff, and maintenance leadership regarding repairs and updates

Requirements

• A “Whatever It Takes” approach to work
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across multiple maintenance disciplines
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certifications preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay

Base Pay: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Paid rotating on-call participation required

Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed
