Service Technician

About the role

M.H. Eby, Inc., a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers & truck bodies, seeks technicians for its service department at the West Jefferson facility. Positions work on both new and used trailers, including those made by EBY and other manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• General trailer/truck body service
• Brake repairs
• Wiring repairs
• Fabrication
• Other types of mechanical repairs on livestock semi/gooseneck trailers, grain trailers, and aluminum truck bodies

Requirements

• The proper use of hand tools, tape measures, power tools
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• The ability to work as a team

Qualifications

• Prior experience with trailer maintenance, brakes, electrical, metal fabrication, and systems diagnosis is preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful
• Must possess the ability to work as a team

Skills

• Proper use of hand tools
