Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and upgrade security and wireless systems
- Install and terminate low-voltage cabling and devices
- Troubleshoot system issues and complete preventative maintenance
- Document all work and communicate updates to the Service Team Lead
- Conduct site surveys and identify upgrade opportunities
- Read and interpret scopes, floor plans, and technical documentation
- Provide professional customer service in sensitive environments
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience with low-voltage/security systems
- Proficiency with cabling, terminations, testing tools, and fire-stopping
- Basic computer and networking knowledge
- Ability to work independently on small to medium systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MA D-License (for MA work)
- OSHA 10
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout New England and work off-hours as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and operate in varying conditions
Preferred Experience
- With major security platforms (Honeywell, Genetec, Lenel, Bosch, etc.)
- Certifications in fire-stopping, lifts, or specialized security systems
- Experience in detention or other sensitive environments
