Service Technician

About the role

Elk Grove Ford is seeking an experienced Ford Service Technician to join their busy, high-performing service department. They are looking for technicians who can diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles efficiently while producing quality work and strong flat-rate hours.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Ford vehicles according to manufacturer standards
• Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, drivability, and diagnostic repairs
• Complete maintenance services efficiently and accurately
• Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status with service advisors
• Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional automotive technician experience
• Ford dealership experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• ASE certifications and Ford certifications are a plus
• Ability to consistently produce quality flat-rate hours
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required

Pay

• Flat-rate pay from $33.80 to $50.00 per hour based on experience and certifications

Schedule

• This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on Production Productivity.
