Service Technician

About the role

Lithia Audi Van Nuys is hiring a Service Technician. Pay ranges from $36.84 to $45.00 per flat-rate hour. Production bonuses are available.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and document test procedures/results.
• Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and use technical training as assigned by management.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in diagnostic, electrical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with European, luxury, or highline brands.
• Experience using OEM diagnostic equipment and repair information systems.
• ASE Certifications.
• Audi or Volkswagen experience.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Qualifications

• Total Rewards: Range from $36.84 to $45.00 per flat rate hour. Eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production Productivity.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, one Saturday shift every 3 weeks.
