Responsibilities
- Contribute positively to Lehman Daman’s culture and maintain a collaborative, team-focused approach.
- Follow all safety practices and comply fully with Lehman Daman’s safety program, including the use of required safety equipment at all times.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair work across a variety of building systems and components.
- Assemble, procure, install, and repair materials and finishes, including rough and finish carpentry, drywall and finishing, FRP, acoustic ceilings, and painting.
- Support project execution by helping manage schedule, cost, and quality standards.
- Communicate directly and effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners.
- Read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to complete assigned work accurately.
- Safeguard all maintenance and repair work to meet applicable quality standards, laws, and regulations.
- Safely operate trade tools and maintain accurate inventory of tools and materials.
- Maintain required project documentation, including daily reports, mileage, expense records, and timesheets.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot technical and non-technical issues, make sound decisions, and provide clear direction when needed.
- Strong knowledge of safety best practices and procedures, with a consistent commitment to safe work habits.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to diagnose and complete minor repairs and troubleshoot onsite issues.
- Skilled in identifying additional maintenance needs while completing assigned service requests.
- Experience using hand and power tools, with working knowledge of drywall repair and general home maintenance tasks.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical activities including bending, standing, and kneeling.
- Able to safely climb ladders and work at heights.
- Proficient with basic technology, including email, mobile devices, and digital photography.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between multiple properties as required.
- Team-oriented professional with a positive, proactive attitude and a strong track record of success.
- Able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in general service maintenance.
