Responsibilities

Technicians are responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and warranty work according to repair orders, keeping Service Advisors updated on repair status and estimated completion times, road testing vehicles to confirm issues are resolved and performance meets customer expectations, maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work station, complying with all company safety policies and procedures, continuously learning new techniques and technology through formal training, and maintaining professionalism, integrity, and quality in all work.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of technician experience or equivalent training
• ASE certification preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to stay up to date on evolving vehicle technology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with the job
• Professional appearance and work ethic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years of automotive technician experience or equivalent training
• ASE certification preferred
• Basic computer and phone skills; dealership software experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-focused
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic

Working Conditions

• Work primarily indoors with occasional outdoor activity in an auto shop environment
• Daily walking, standing, and lifting required
• Must be available to work full time, including possible evenings or weekends as needed
