About the role
The Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs a wide range of fueling infrastructure equipment, including fuel dispensers, submersible fuel pumps, service station site controllers, credit card readers, cash register consoles, pumping PCWs, tank and line monitoring equipment, and other systems found in service stations and convenience stores.
Responsibilities
- Work safely and comply with fire safety, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
- Analyze equipment issues and perform repairs in a professional and productive manner.
- Conduct repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
- Perform factory-authorized modifications as specified.
- Maintain tools required for safe and effective job performance.
- Follow customer safety and housekeeping guidelines during on-site repairs.
- Resolve warranty calls for dispensers and tank monitors.
- Perform after-hours service calls as needed.
- Conduct break-fix and preventative maintenance on service station electronics, computers, and fuel dispensing systems, including electronic, plumbing, and mechanical work.
- Deliver quality customer service, ensuring cost-effective completion of duties.
- Complete prerequisite work to obtain and maintain certifications from original equipment manufacturers.
- Assist lead technicians with equipment start-up and commissioning on service projects.
- Travel as required for job assignments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver License.
- Familiarity with computer operations and aptitude for learning computer skills.
- Gilbarco Dispenser certification and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and standing for 8-10 hours per day.
- Must pass a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR if driving for the company.
