Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components.
- Use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment.
- Collaborate with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs.
- Aid and train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers.
- Provide technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems.
- Assist with “hands-on” work to ensure equipment operates to customer’s requirements with limited guidance from the Master Technician.
- Increase awareness of Ingersoll Rand products, services, and solutions, such as Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostics, Audits and Leak Detection, to benefit customers' operations.
Requirements
- 2 years+ experience of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
- On-call availability, but not during the first 90 days.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Core competencies include reading wiring schematics and diagrams, advanced network systems installations, basic vibration troubleshooting, basic air quality, operating knowledge of Microsoft office software, and working proficiency with handheld computers and networks.
Preferences
- 2 years+ industrial air compressor maintenance & knowledge.
- Degree program in Electrical/Electronic Technology or HVAC with relevant experience.
- Veterans/Active-Duty Military are encouraged to apply.

Pay
This is a full-time, hourly position. Starting Pay will range between $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is also offered.
Schedule
Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:30 PM.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
- Travel daily in a 3-hour radius within the service area.
- Occasional travel for training, 1-2 times per year for one week at a time.
- A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
