Service Technician

Scope of Role (Field Service)

• Perform on-site installation, start-up, and commissioning of automation and materials-handling equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues in the field.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on operation, safety, and basic maintenance.

Accurately document service activities, time worked, parts used, and job status in company systems.

Travel

Travel extensively to customer sites, including overnight travel as required.

Representation and Compliance

• Represent MHM Automation and Bettcher professionally while working at customer facilities.
• Comply with all safety standards, customer site requirements, and company policies.

Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with the After Sales, Engineering, and HR teams to support customer satisfaction and employee compliance.

Duties as Assigned

Perform all duties in accordance with company safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Work Environment

• Field-based role involving frequent travel to customer facilities.
• Work may include weekends, extended hours, and overnight travel depending on customer needs and service schedules.
