Service Technician
About the role
The Field Service Technician will repair premium compressed air equipment on-site and on-demand to ensure complete customer satisfaction. This position requires the ability to perform mechanical and electrical duties, resolve customer-initiated technical issues, and work closely with Fluid Flow Account Managers and management.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical duties to repair, maintain, survey, and commission compressed air equipment.
- Resolve customer-initiated technical issues.
- Visit customer sites for courtesy calls on days without paid jobs.
- Work with Fluid Flow Account Managers and management to increase Service and aftermarket revenue.
- Travel to assist other Fluid Flow Technicians as needed.
- Be an ambassador for the Company.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform tasks such as removing, rebuilding, and replacing valves weighing up to 60 pounds, unassisted.
- Ability to remove and replace pipe spools up to 8" in diameter.
- Knowledge of electrical testing with a voltmeter.
- Experience programming, troubleshooting microprocessor and PLC-based equipment controls.
- Ability to climb and work on scaffolding.
- Proficiency in completing daily reports by computer.
- Experience dumping and loading air dryer desiccant by hand in 50 sacks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar field.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a drug test.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
