Service Technician

Ferrellgas is looking for a Full-Time Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain propane equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.

About the role

Service Technicians work local routes and are typically home every night, though on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain propane equipment for retail customers.
• Provide emergency response, system installation, and testing.
• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to and from specified destinations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through daily interactions, supplying service and safety information, and answering inquiries.
• Work on propane appliances and assist with deliveries as needed based on customer demands.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 or more years of related experience.
• Good driving record.
• Commercial driver’s license (Class B CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship for an employment visa.
