Service Technician
About the role
Epiroc Industrial Tools and Attachments LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join their Parts and Services team. This role involves keeping Epiroc equipment running at peak performance through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Epiroc equipment
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues and determine root causes
- Run diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment and complete repairs with minimal supervision
- Support multiple service activities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate service updates clearly with internal teams and customers
- Maintain tools and equipment and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety policies and promote a strong safety-first culture
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on mechanical or technical experience or a trade/technical school certificate
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, powertrain components, and electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic computer skills and ability to read technical schematics
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
