Service Technician

Continental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Service Technician to join our team at the Authentix Bettendorf residential apartment community in Bettendorf, IA. You will provide exceptional customer service and maintain facility operations.

About the Role

You will address resident service needs and help maintain the property’s appearance and safety. This is a full-time position reporting to the Service Supervisor.

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour, with additional earning potential through performance incentives.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional resident experience by maintaining top-notch curb appeal and delivering outstanding customer service in every interaction.
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance needs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and flooring.
• Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property through grounds upkeep, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, unit touch-ups, and snow removal (where applicable).
• Use smart technology and mobile apps to manage, track, and complete work orders efficiently.
• Work flexibly, including overtime, on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in maintenance, manual labor, or a related trade.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting up to 100 lbs independently (up to 250 lbs with assistance).
• Comfortable using technology such as computers, tablets, and phones.
• Reliable and adaptable to non-traditional schedules.
