Continental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Service Technician to join our team at our Springs at Port Charlotte residential apartment community in Port Charlotte, FL.

About the role

You will provide exceptional customer service and personal attention to residents, address service needs, and help maintain facility operations. You will report to the Service Supervisor.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour with additional earning potential through position-specific performance incentives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional resident experience by maintaining top-notch curb appeal and delivering outstanding customer service in every interaction.
  • Adopt a "no task is too small" mindset; assist with any work needed to keep the community looking great and residents happy.
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance needs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and flooring.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property through grounds upkeep, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, and unit touch-ups.
  • Use smart technology and mobile apps daily to manage, track, and complete work orders efficiently.
  • Perform snow removal in applicable states.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in maintenance, manual labor, or a related trade.
  • Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physically capable of bending, lifting up to 100 lbs independently (up to 250 lbs with assistance).
  • Comfortable using technology such as computers, tablets, and phones.
