Service Technician

Carolina Power is seeking experienced Commercial & Residential Service Electricians with expertise in installing and servicing emergency generators.

Regular, full-time position eligible for benefits. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing superior customer service while adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers on needs and complete estimates
• Manage truck inventory, tools, and equipment systems
• Resolve customer and job-site conflicts regarding installation issues
• Provide feedback to supervisor on changes and expertly perform the craft to ensure the highest customer satisfaction

Requirements

• 5–7 years’ experience in the electrical field
• Professional image and strong trust-building skills
• Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient with hand tools of the trade
• Able to wear basic PPE effectively
• Valid driver’s license with minimal violations
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs. on a regular basis
• Able to climb ladders, stairs, bend, stoop, and work in all weather conditions
