Service Technician
Responsibilities
- Picks-up and delivers equipment or repairs on-site
- Provides customer training on the use and maintenance of service equipment
- Follows all applicable safety guidelines, government regulations, company’s safety manuals and/or stated safety policies
- Follows-up on all customer requests and questions to ensure appropriate response is made and customer is satisfied
- Maintains a service van and its inventory
- Processes paperwork upon completion of each repair performed
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
- Treats all customers, both internal and external, with respect and courtesy
- Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Requirements
- Must have working knowledge of troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing floor care equipment, auto scrubbers, vacuums and electrical systems
- High School diploma or equivalent, technical school desired
- 1-2 years’ experience in similar environment
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer care skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and lift up to 75 lbs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair floor care equipment, auto scrubbers, vacuums, and electrical systems
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical school preferred
- One to two years of experience in a similar environment
- A mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong customer care ethic
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $25.00-$31.25 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
