Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Interpret technical schematics and diagnostic results to determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Perform thorough system evaluations to identify root causes of malfunctions.

Repair and Maintenance

• Execute precise repairs on all truck systems including powertrains, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and services.
• Verify repair quality through comprehensive testing and validation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in medium-heavy duty truck repair.
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical/electronic system diagnostics.
• Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting.
• Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and software.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various physical positions.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE Certifications.
• Familiarity with fleet maintenance operations.

Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program

This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing medium-heavy duty trucks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of truck systems and a proven capability in effective problem-solving and repair.

Skills

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as a deep understanding of vehicle mechanics.
