Service Technician

Principal Responsibilities

• Maintain Polymer Pilot plant.
• Rebuild RMA equipment returned to Anderson.
• Develop knowledge of Expellers and Expanders within 60 days and continue building on this knowledge.
• Support AIC Outside Sales Representatives.
• Support AIC Project Management.
• Travel international and US (70% international, 30% US).

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School or GED or equivalent work experience required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technology field preferred.
• 2+ years’ technical field experience preferred.
• Rotational equipment preferred.
• Gearboxes and shafts. Fork truck, lift truck and other equipment experience.
• SAGE 500 or equivalent ERP system experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Products with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and SharePoint preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. required.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to travel with short notice.
• Ability to problem solve, manage time effectively.
• Ability to manage stressful situations and work with various personalities.
• Ability to use discretion as needed and make decisions within the best interest of AIC.
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve results.
• Possess analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
• Good communication (oral and written), organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to change within a growing company while achieving business KPIs.

Work Environment

• Occasionally stand, sit, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Specific vision abilities require close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Extra-time may be necessary as workload dictates.
