Service Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining various equipment according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general service, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on clutch, brake, transmission, suspension, tires, electrical, etc. on heavy agricultural and construction equipment as well as light duty cars and trucks.
• Obtain certification and perform onsite DOT inspections periodically at Agtegra locations – Agtegra will train.
• Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Possessing a general knowledge of all products and services.
• Assisting in maintenance and cleanliness of facility, equipment and grounds.
• Greeting and communicating with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program and DOT regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/GED or 0-1 year related experience; or combination of education and experience.
• Technical School Degree in related field of study and/or two years of related experience and/or training.
• CDL or valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License; Class A CDL preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• English Proficiency.
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly stand; walk; use hands; talk or hear and taste or smell. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• SPECIFIC VISION ABILITIES: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• WORK ENVIRONMENT: Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
