Job Summary
Comfort Systems USA - Intermountain Inc. is seeking a HVAC Service Technician to service the Southern Utah area.
Job Functions And Duties
- Service and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems and associated controls systems.
- Work without supervision to complete assignments and gain knowledge of products/processes.
- Safety Minded. Aware of the many potential hazards associated with the industry.
- Active Learning Skills. Understand the essential need of new information and pursue ongoing training.
- Good Communication Skills. Good listener with the ability to complete tasks as instructed to help negotiate complex problems and deliver competent customer service solutions in an honest and believable manner.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of on-the-job experience
- Boiler/chiller experience, preferred
- Basic mathematical, language, communication and reasoning skills
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- EPA 608 Universal refrigeration license
- NATE Certification (preferred)
- Manufacturer specific certificates
- Valid driver's license
- Clean drug and background history
Physical Demands
- The employee is regularly required to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- The employee is regularly required to talk and listen.
- The employee is frequently required to walk, use hands and fingers to reach, feel, grasp, and manipulate; and be able to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
- The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment.
- The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage) and vibration.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
- The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
