Service Supervisor- Forge Apartments
About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. The Service Supervisor at Forge Apartments is responsible for overseeing routine maintenance, preparing properties for leasing, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the community.
Responsibilities
- Completes work orders and routine upkeep on the community
- Oversees the “make-ready” process for vacant units
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of community grounds and amenities
- Inspects and verifies work performed by contractors and vendors
- Maintains inventory of spare parts and supplies
- Performs monthly preventative maintenance
- Assists in developing and managing the budget for repairs and maintenance
- Supports cost-cutting initiatives and safety protocols
- Conducts safety meetings and ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulations
- Treats residents and others with respect and responds efficiently to maintenance requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related field
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Ability to apply logical thinking to solve problems
- Effective customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating to represent company management
- Basic mathematical skills for reviewing and completing financial documents
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal (if required)
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)

- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal (if required)
- All certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
Physical Demands
- Standing, walking, sitting for extended periods
- Bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, crawling
- Working inside and outside in all weather conditions
- Pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, or maneuvering weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Additional Compensation
The hourly range for this job is $42 - $45. Additional compensation includes participation in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance, and benefits such as competitive medical, dental, vision, and disability & life insurance, generous paid time off, and robust employee benefits.
