Service Supervisor - Birchway Quarry Falls

About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. The Service Supervisor at Birchway Quarry Falls is responsible for overseeing maintenance and ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the community.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and routine upkeep
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and common areas
• Inspects work performed by other team members and contractors
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and supplies
• Performs preventative maintenance
• Supports budget development for repairs and maintenance
• Ensures safety and compliance with OSHA and other regulations
• Treats residents and others with respect and responds to complaints efficiently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related field
• Knowledgeable and skilled in using hand and power tools safely
• Ability to apply logical thinking to solve problems
• Effective customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating to represent management
• Basic mathematical skills for reviewing and completing financial documents
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal (if required)
• Valid driver's license for operating a golf cart (if applicable)

Specialized Skills

• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal (if required)
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions

Travel / Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry up to 25 pounds
• Work inside and outside in all weather conditions
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
