Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and model outstanding customer service at all times
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Promote a welcoming and positive store environment
- Support daily front-end functions including registers, self-checkout, and service desk
- Affirm proper cash handling, till accountability, and accurate transactions
- Assist with opening, closing, and shift transitions
- Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks
- Reinforce productivity, service expectations, and company standards
- Aid in training new employees on front-end processes and procedures
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and labor procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and operational front-end areas
- Assist with breaks, lunches, and shift coverage
- Support store initiatives, promotions, and seasonal programs
- Communicate effectively with store leadership regarding front-end performance and issues
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash handling experience
- Ledgers or supervisory experience preferred
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical Requirements: Stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry up to 25 lbs as needed, frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the front-end area
